What about this kind of body shape?
Broad shoulders straight and square, breast usually abundant (but no more than a D/E cup), little definition between waist and pelvis, absence of buttocks and hips … shortly said, everything is bigger in the upper half.
How these important shoulders can look smaller? Simply by driving the attention elsewhere and trying to elongate the torso. So absolutely prefer large boat necklines, deep V neck lines, halter necklines, thin straps, single shoulder and yes, even with bare shoulders (ever heard the adagio ”in order to hide a flaw just highlight it”? in this case it’s true).
About the lower part of the body instead, I suggest wearing culotte or regular cut trousers, bootcut and flares jeans or you can try boyfriend jeans for a baggy and comfortable look; long dresses, wide skirts and very long and vaporous skirts, in order to create length and volume to bring balance between the upper and lower part of the body. Focus especially on belts, choose statement large ones, plain or either bejeweled, because they will create your waistline and try to wear a top, darker than your bottom’s color. If you like wearing jewelry be minimal, at least choose minimal necklaces and earrings, while you can indulge in larger and statement bracelet and rings.
Avoid instead anything that can bring attention up to your shoulders like puffy sleeves, batwing, rouches.
